discount plasma hdtv

I have a Sony rear projection HDTV and occasionally the picture flickers with just a red square and sometimes the TV turns off. I’m assuming the tubes need replacing. How do I do this, and where can I get tubes?

Can I connect using all HDMI connections? If so, how should I configure? There are (2 HDMI inputs) on the HDTV; (1 HDMI output) on the Satellite HD DirecTV and (1 HDMI output) on the Sony DAV – FX900W DVD Surround sound system. If this isn’t feasible, what’s the best way to configure and what type of connections should I use?

We just purchased a Sony 40″ HDTV LCD 1080p. We have a pioneer DVD surrond system and a phillips DVR. What is the easiest way to have this system setup in HD and what do I need to get this done. I am not sure if my DVR is HD but we just got it about 2yrs ago from Directv brand new. Thanks!

I have the regular DVR box and currently have the Coax connection and tv looks a little fuzzy. Am getting Monster component video cables through mail and have HDMI but those are for HDTV programming I was told. Can conponent hook up through DVD/ VCR and tv look better? How can I get Sony HDTV to look like it did in the store? It just seem to not be as bright as it did in the store. And it lacks the pure clarity as display.

I just purchased a Toshiba VCR and DVD Recorder and was hooking up to new Sony HDTV and came across something called tuner? I have com-cast coming in from wall to TV and wanted to hooked this new Toshiba up. Figures it be hard to me, well being a woman who has never hooked up any electronics to TVs. Can anyone help?

I want to connect my Sony HDTV to my HP Pavilion. My HP Pavilion doesn’t Have an HDMI port so I have a cable that connects from my computers DVI port to the TVs HDMI. The TV is recognized by the computer and I’ve enabled it as a second monitor, but the TV says there is no input in its HDMI port. Anybody got any suggestions?
